United States Team Roping Championships USTRC

Team roping at the USTRC runs on a handicap system: every roper carries a number rating, and teams enter classes capped by their combined total. That is the structure that lets a weekend header and a professional heeler enter the same roping in different brackets. Qualifying events feed national finals, and the calendar here is team roping almost exclusively.
